Blood tests
- Come strictly fasting, usually after 8-12 hours without food.

- Do not smoke for 1 hour before the test.
- Avoid physical and emotional stress when possible.
Abdominal ultrasound
- Avoid gas-producing foods for 2-3 days before the examination.
- The examination is performed on an empty stomach.
- If you have increased gas formation, clarify preparation with your doctor in advance.
- Do not drink water for 2 hours before the examination unless prescribed otherwise.
General recommendations
- Bring your referral, passport and previous examination results.
- Arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled time.
- Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to remove.
- Tell the doctor about medications and allergies.
Important note
Ignoring preparation rules may distort examination results and require the procedure to be repeated.
