Basic rules for patients
Patients are required to:
- upon admission to the reception department, deposit outer clothing, shoes, documents and valuables:
- have toiletries and replacement shoes;
- strictly adhere to the daily routine, medical prescriptions, and prescribed regimen;
- maintain order and cleanliness in all rooms, keep your bed and bedside table in order;
- during the daytime rest and after going to bed, stay in bed in the ward and maintain silence;
- follow the instructions of the department staff on duty and security;
- treat hospital property with care;
- accept products from visitors and in sealed original packaging;
- Store perishable foods in the refrigerator in a separate bag indicating your full name, room number, and date of packaging;
- On the eve of discharge, inform the head nurse of the department about the things, documents, and valuables handed over upon admission:
- upon discharge from the superior ward, hand over the ward to the sister-hostess in accordance with the inventory, as well as the key to it;
- pay for paid services on time;
- comply with fire safety requirements;
- if fire sources or other sources threatening public safety are detected, the patient must immediately notify the duty personnel;
- formalize in the prescribed manner your refusal to receive information against your will about your state of health, examination results, the presence of a disease, its diagnosis and prognosis, including, in cases of an unfavorable prognosis for the development of the disease, refusal of medical intervention or its termination;
- treat medical staff with respect, show a friendly and polite attitude towards other patients;
- When leaving the luxury ward, lock the door; upon discharge, hand over the key to the room to the duty nurse.
Patients are prohibited from:
- leave the department from 22.00. until 06.00;
- take photos and videos in the hospital without permission from the administration;
- use mobile communications when visiting a doctor, during procedures, manipulations, examinations;
- store outerwear, shoes, shopping bags and duffel bags in the room;
- store dangerous and prohibited objects, piercing, cutting objects and breakable utensils in the ward;
- use electric boilers, kettles, heating pads, other electrical appliances (except electric shavers), extension cords, tees and independently repair any breakdowns of equipment or furniture;
- turn on lighting, audio, video equipment, telephones, as well as walk around the ward and department during the time intended for sleep and rest;
- use bed linen, pillows and blankets from free beds in the wards;
- take walks around the hospital premises without the permission of the attending physician;
- leave the hospital premises;
- consume alcoholic beverages, narcotic or toxic substances;
- smoking on hospital premises;
- is located in the office premises of the duty personnel at nursing stations;
- gamble, make noise: talk loudly, sing, play musical instruments, etc.;
- store perishable food in the ward;
- to be outside the ward but during quiet time;
- to move to another ward without permission;
- throw something out of windows;
- feed birds on windowsills, or throw food out the window.
Violations also include:
- rude or disrespectful attitude towards staff;
- failure to appear or late attendance at a doctor's appointment or procedure;
- non-compliance with the requirements and recommendations of the doctor;
- taking medications at your own discretion;
- unauthorized leaving the institution before completing the course of treatment;
- simultaneous treatment in another institution without the permission of the attending physician;
- refusal to refer or untimely appearance at the VKK or CCP.
The list of violations for which patients are subject to discharge from the hospital before the end of the treatment period with a corresponding note on the sick leave certificate:
- unauthorized leaving the hospital or leaving it;
- rude or disrespectful attitude towards staff, failure to follow their instructions;
- smoking in the hospital;
- consumption of alcoholic beverages, narcotic or toxic substances;
- behavior that disrupts the peace of patients, the internal order and routine of the department, causing complaints from patients and staff;
- refusal or failure to comply with doctor’s orders (recommendations);
- simultaneous stay on inpatient (outpatient) treatment in another health care facility.
Visitors are prohibited from:
- to visit the hospital for persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or toxic substances;
- take photos and videos in the hospital without permission from the administration;
- drink alcohol;
- smoking on hospital premises;
- bring into the hospital alcohol and items prohibited for free circulation, as well as products that the patient is prohibited from consuming;
- disturb the peace of patients;
- visit other departments, wards, enter office premises into which unauthorized persons are prohibited;
- distribute advertising or offer goods and services;
- use elevators intended for medical personnel.
